Blogging experience

Hi! Now I have to write the last post and is time of to evaluate this experience.
I think that the blog was a good experience for learn more english, more vocabulary and the quickly of the creation of sentences. Besides never I have had a blog or web page of this type where you can write about a theme, so was my first time (including the previous class of english -level 3-).
Write in the blog was important and a benefice for my english, I think that thanks to the blog I could learn more, but I must say that I feel a few of frustration with the learning. This semester has been definitely more difficult, because is the last year in my career and for all conflicts in relation with the education, was very difficult learn something without enough classes.
Some post were funnier than others (I think that I never thought that some post was boring), for example the post about "One on one", "An ambition", and "My Christmas", among others. In these post was easier write because not were so specific topics and was fun to tell about me or about something that like me.
The disadvantages of the blog can be that the blog take time and sometimes we don’t achieve to write all post, especially because in this class we had write in our home and in general was so difficult to me make me the enough time to do the english tasks. Well, although in most cases I was late in making post, the true is I want learn english, and I really try, but how already I said this semester has been more difficult.
I can say this programme helped me improve my english. This programme forces me to write and read in english every week and was interesting and sometimes fun to read the post of my classmates (in this case my favorites, I think were the dalila and susana blog). In my opinion Is a great advantages have the blog in the English class, because this program make better the capacity for express ideas.

Good luck!
bye :)

a piece of art

Hello classmates!

Well, I have to talk about a piece of art that I like, but the problem is: I study history of art, and for that is so difficult choose one piece or one artist, because in the last four years (since I began my career) I have had many favorites artists... (actually, since I was a child I liked several artist). There are many good artist, and there are many different styles in different times. For that, I think is very difficult choose one work in this field (maybe in other field too).
Anyway, after thinking it, I choose one of the first pieces of art that I knew and although it's so typical, I love it until today.

One of my favorite forefronts is the expressionism, especially for the identity crisis and the social critique, and Van Gogh is one of the most important expressionists. I knew Van Gogh because my mom had a picture called “The starry night”, one of the most famous paints in the world. In this moment, this picture became in one of my favorites pictures. In my opinion this paint it`s very especial for the night landscape, for the intense colors (that don´t represent the reality), and because Van Gogh show us his emotions across the landscape… among other things

In general the people think that Van Gogh was a crazy and alcoholic man, but I´m not sure about it. Is true that Van Gogh was an alcoholic and also it´s true that he was an irritable and sensitive person. So, I think that for his great ire and sensibility, the people say that he was a mad man.

my Santiago city

Well, now I will talk a little about this city, with their good and bad things. I always have lived here, so, I know some things about Santiago. One of the things I like about Santiago is that there are a variety of panoramas where you can entertain and where you go to see or do differents things, something that doesn't occur necessarily in other places in the country. I think that, if you don't know this city you need visit the Historic Places, such as The Moneda, the ex - National Congress, the mail, the Brazil neighborhood, the neighborhood Concha y Toro, and more and more. And not only beautiful places in the city itself, also outside of it, as is the Cajón del Maipo and the sanctuary of Yerba Loca, that allows the visitor and the resident be in nature, but nearby to the city itself.
But all is not wonderful in Santiago, and like any big city has its problems that many people (including me) want try to change, as lack of education about the culture and their value, the importance of the proper use of space and the appreciation of these. In ralation with the nature, in general the situation is awful for lack of green areas for recreation, and is so clear that we need nature into the city, to provide us with clean air and beautiful landscapes. Another thing that as a big city I don't like is the large and notorious differents in the social strata that has a geographic component that in other places is not so evidently. And, I must to say that is impossible don´t mention the theme about the transportation, because the transportation is the theme of this beautiful city that we can´t ignore, Transantiago rows, the number of vehicles on the streets, lack of bike lanes make the forms of transportation in the capital is a real disaster.
But after criticism, must propose a solution to the problems, some easier than others. I think that for the issue of lack of culture should be treated with differents policies to promote the culture, like a real and more education directly in the school for young people, and for the use of areas and control of garbage, should be encouraging recycling and promoting a more sustainable life. For a discussion of the geographical distribution of poverty, can be fought with quality education that will enable us to develop a way to get out of the circle of poverty and thus have a method of improving the quality of life of people. well, some problems aren't so easy, but it's can solve, the changes are possible!. About the famous theme of transport, should create more bike lanes and encourage bike as a means of transportation at least to go to the workplace.
Here some tips to know Santiago. To tour the museum culture of the Moneda and the historical center (except in summer, a little heat, jejejejeje), for nature lovers Yerba Loca Sanctuary in Cajon del Maipo is a beautiful place in summer and winter. For the traveler who arrives at the airport, take a transfer (taxi nooo!), and try to go out with few things of value. At night there is always something to do, if there isn’t a good show, would be nice at the end of the day get a drink in Bellavista neighborhood.

DRAGON

Welcome new year 2012!
I hope that this year will be a fantastic year! not only why every year, as many persons, I hope that the next year will be my year or a great year for all (at least for all my family and friends)! no no… this year objectively will be a specially year (or I think so), because I’m a DRAGON! so finally is my sign year :)
but this year is supposed is a water dragon year, and I’m a earth dragon...

However, I must to say that very few times I read my horoscope, I have never very interested, but when I was thirteen approximately I interested in the signs of the zodiac (occidental zodiac), and for that I know some things about that.

I just read my horoscope and apparently this year will be a great year for me! finaly! hahaha
well, is supposed that in this year, the dragons will do many plans and these plans will be successful. Also, will have many and great opportunities of jobs (I really need that!).

This is a year of great changes, new ideas, new experiences and all will be a successful, woooh! could be better?

What else I can say...
I also read that for our sympathy and others good qualities will have a year with much social life, and for that will have new and very good friends, friends of life.

Ok, that is what I can say about this new year beginning on January 23,
only I hope that the predictions will be correct!
but, whatever happens, I will be optimistic and I will try make a good and beautiful year for me! who knows ... maybe will be the last... :S

My Christmas

Well for begin I must apologize for the delay in appropriate greetings for the holidays that have passed. It will sound like a tipical excuse that my pc was bad, but it´s true, the internet receiver decomposed and couldn´t connect, and when the PC came to be ok my mom need work a long time with the PC. Sorry

Ok, for me, Christmas and New Year are a time to be with people who you love and to fun with them. It's a perfect way to end the year and wait the new one with the greatest optimism and hapiness possible.

well, I spent the Christmas day with my dad' family (with my grandparents, uncles and cousins... we were all, except for my dad, his wife and my little brother, because they spent the Christmas with the my stepmother' family). so, I went to one of my girls cousins house, and later we went to one of my women uncles (and my godmother) house. but first we went to a mass in the Manquehue school... I hated that! I don't be a catholic person (I don´t belive in god) and my cousin don´t told me that they will go to a mass.

anyway, was a beautiful and fun night, we ate turkey, salad and lasagna, and the dessert was a icecream. I love when we are all together, we laugh so much... and I recived many presents, but definitely is not the most important. in conclusion was a great night.

Regards to all
bye

favorite beach

The beach, for me, is synonymous a summer vacation with friends, have fun, met a new people and travel. In general I visited the central coast such as Algaroobo or Viña del Mar, this is the meeting point of the summer vacation with my friends. Another beach I ussually visited is El Tavo, because one of my best friends has a house in this area and invites me to spend some days with him.

But, my favorite beach of all I have known is Pan de Azucar, in Chañaral (third region of Chile). I think that this is one of the most beautiful national park in this country and is the second largest reserve Homboldt penguin and addition to possessing an extremely diverse flora and fauna. The water is warmer than in the central coast, has a small cove where you can eat very very delicious, and there are fewer people than in other beaches, I really think that is a great place to visiting.

This beach met her in the summer of 2008, I arrive there with 5 friends, the trip was an adventure, we separate up to reach the meeting points and we were to other beaches like Playa la Virgen in Copiapo, until we came to Pan de Azúcar.

Quite an experience to be lived, I recommend it to all people, try to know these parts of the country.

regards!

walk on forest trails

The activity that I like to do outdoors is walking on forest trails, although there is an activity that can´t be done very often. since I was a child I have loved do everything to outdoors, such as play soccer or tennis and other outdoors activities. now I ride bike to avoid polluting the environment, but the hiking trails remains the outdoor activities that I more love.
I started making that when I was a child in scout as 8 years old and until today I try to do it. The last time I did it was de last winter in the mountainous area of the Termas de Chillan in the 8th region, is a very beautiful place both summer and winter, both forests and snow, it becomes a very different place in the two seasons, is so beautiful.
I will try to travel around in february (this year I'll just have vacation in February :( well, like many others actually...), I don´t know where to will go, but anyway I will travel somewhere, maybe to Ecuador or south of Chile, also could be Peru, Bolivia or Argentina ... who knows... to where the road and the wind takes me hahaha.

Regards! and enjoy yours outdoor activities!!!

a song...

Well, I really tried, but was impossible don't choose this song,

So… one song that I love and which has more than 30 years, and for these days is becoming more contingent and current, is “Another Brick in The Wall” by Pink Floyd. The same criticism of the system 32 years ago, stronger today than ever in our country, is heard every day in every corner of society. This society that asks a free and quality education, for the system not transform us into another brick in the wall!!!, another piece in the system that only takes up space without contributing anything to society.

Well, without entering into educational conflict. I think the album "The Wall" is one of the masterpieces of music that has done in the last 50 years, providing us two fundamental things such as criticism of the system and a melodic repertoire of excellence with a continuity from song to song. In my opinion is an excellent album, one of favorites in my collection. Also, as many should know, I must to say that Pink Floyd will present with "The Wall" in chile on march 2 and 3 at the National Stadium. A safety pin in 2012!!!

you don't to be missed!
I hope can go!

Regards :)

ONE ON ONE

Hello everybody
I must to say this post is so difficult, because I can choose anyone with I would like for have a “one on one”. Well... after thinking it, one name appears in my mind more than others (he is one of my loves), and this person who I would like have a one on one is Chaplin

Since I was a child I have so liked the work of Charles Spencer Chaplin. He was an English comic actor and film director of the silent film era. From 1915 onwards Chaplin wrote, directed, produced and, of course, starred in all his movies and his personage was called Charlot (the tramp). He made films like City Lights, Modern Times and The Great Dictator. I really like Chaplin for his life, for his movies, for make a sharp critique about the society of his times, and of course, for give to his movies a great and brilliant humor.

so, the three things I would ask him are:
How did you come to the tramp character (Charlot)?
In general your movies are a social and political criticism of your times, but I think your films still we represent,
what do you think about the today's world?
With your films you made many people laugh,
but you was happy? especially in relation to your work?

Regards!

Pan de azúcar

My best journey was…. Until now, I think was when I visited the north in February 2009 (I don’t know the south very much). In this month I traveled with five friends (two girls and three boys). We began in la Serena, we stayed here for four days and later we went to different places, such as Punta de choro, Playa la virgen and Bahía inglesa, but my favorite and the place about I will write here and right now is Pan de azúcar. This place is wonderful, we stayed here for a week in a camp site. Every day we walked for this place or we went to the beach and in the night we went to “party’s” with others people of cap site. This beach is very beautiful, maybe because this beach stay in the deserted area.

Well… how I said before, among the places I visited in this trip this place was my favorite because I love it, is amazing, is a magic desert with sea. In the night we only had the light of the moon and the stars and in the camp site we and other people did party’s with candles, that was very beautiful and fun, I had never been in a party like that. Is a really magical place, I think everybody has to go someday!

Regards!

Santiago...

Hello everyone!
Today I have to write about a special place in Santiago.
This topic is very difficult because I don’t like Santiago. However I must say that in this year I traveled to Chiloé and I have traveled a lot to Concepción, and those trips made me appreciate my city. I think the south is wonderful for his people and landscapes, but I hate the cold weather and when rain a lot, and I missed activities or things like cinema, differents types of pubs, art galeries... more movement in geneal.
Anyway, since this year I think than Santiago is not so bad place. My favorite place is el Cajón del Maipo (when I was a child a lived there), but I fear that this place is don’t part of Santiago. In any case, I think, the capital city has any different and beautiful or interesting places. I like the nightlife of Santiago, and places like Concha y Toro, Lastarria, Bellavista and Brazil neighborhood, Ñuñoa square, the Artequin museum, among others.
A really important place for me Is Juan Gomes Milla (campus of the University of Chile), because since four years ago I study there, in general I went there all week and is a great place with great people… I have spent many good times in that place.

"wonderful world"

Hello everyone
In this post I have to write about my future ambitions. In this moment I don’t know what I will do in the future, maybe after finish my career I will study photography (I would love to be a photographer of national geographic magazine! hahaha) or alternative medicine, I don’t know why, but since this year I would love study that.

However my first dream or ambition now is travel around the world. I really would like trip in many countries such as Brazil, Peru, Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, among others. When I was a child I wanted to be a famous actress and have many material things as a big house, but now I think the best thing you can do in your life is travel and know different cultures, landscapes, people… are all those experiences that make you feel alive and happy.

Anyway is very probably that the next year since august, and if everything it's ok, I live with my boyfriend in some place of Chile (we would live in the place where he has to work), and when that time comes I will think what I want to do. Well… who knows… maybe I get do one of my ambitions.

Regards!
